1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("you" or "Player") and Throne of Power ("we", "us", "the Bot"), governing your use of the Throne of Power Discord bot, the throneofpower.net website, and any related dashboards, commands, or features (collectively, the "Service"). By inviting the bot to a server, using any bot command, or logging in to the website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is provided through Discord and is subject to Discord's own Terms of Service and minimum age requirements. You must meet Discord's minimum age to hold a Discord account (currently 13, or higher where required by local law) to use the Service. Some features — including cryptocurrency purchases, on-chain NFT trading, and features described in Section 8 — may require you to meet a higher local minimum age for financial transactions or gaming activity; you are responsible for confirming and complying with the laws that apply to you.
3. Your Account
Your in-game profile ("Player" record) is tied to your Discord account ID and, on the website, to a Discord OAuth2 login session. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your Discord account, including anything done through the bot or the website while you're logged in. Keep your Discord account secure — we cannot recover lost progress, currency, or items caused by a compromised Discord account.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Exploit bugs, race conditions, or unintended behavior to duplicate currency, items, or stats;
- Use automation, macros, self-bots, or scripts to interact with the bot or website;
- Operate multiple accounts to circumvent cooldowns, limits, giveaways, or VIP gating;
- Buy, sell, or trade Discord accounts, in-game progress, or items outside features we explicitly provide for that purpose;
- Harass other players, post illegal content, or otherwise violate Discord's Community Guidelines through the Service;
- Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the bot, the website, or their backend systems.
We may investigate suspected violations and take action under Section 12, including reversing illegitimate currency or item gains.
5. Virtual Currencies & Items
TOPC, GEM, CHIPS, emblems, equipment, and other in-game balances or items ("Virtual Items") are a license to use a feature of the Service — they are not your property, are not currency, and (except where Section 6 explicitly says otherwise) have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, refunded, or exchanged for real money. We may adjust drop rates, prices, balances, or the availability of any Virtual Item, or wipe/reset seasonal balances, at our discretion, including as described in the game's published seasonal rules.
Virtual Items exist only for as long as the Service operates. We do not guarantee the Service, or any specific Virtual Item, will be available indefinitely.
6. Cryptocurrency Features
Certain optional features (for example, the NFT Store, the wallet-verification flow, and the Trade Economy conversion tool) involve real Solana (SOL) cryptocurrency transactions that you initiate yourself, from your own wallet or exchange, directly on the Solana blockchain.
- We never take custody of your wallet. You never connect, share a seed phrase for, or grant permissions to a wallet through our website — you only send SOL, from your own wallet app, to an address we display.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you send funds to the wrong address, send the wrong amount, or make an error, we cannot reverse, refund, or recover the transaction.
- No investment advice, no guaranteed value. Nothing in the Service is investment advice. NFTs, emblem tiers, and any associated perks are cosmetic/utility features of the Service, not financial products, and their value may fall to zero.
- You are responsible for taxes and legality. You're solely responsible for determining whether cryptocurrency transactions are legal in your jurisdiction and for any applicable tax obligations.
7. VIP / SUPER VIP Membership
VIP and SUPER VIP are optional membership tiers that unlock cosmetic and convenience features (for example, exclusive chat emojis, store access, or nickname prefixes). Membership tiers are synced account-wide from your qualifying role/purchase and may be granted, adjusted, or revoked if the underlying qualification (role, subscription, or NFT holding) changes or expires. Membership perks are non-transferable and have no cash value.
8. Poker & Other Games
Poker tables, tournaments, and similar features use in-Service Virtual Items (such as CHIPS) for entertainment purposes and do not constitute real-money gambling unless a specific feature is explicitly labeled otherwise at the time you use it. Where any feature does involve real-money stakes or payouts, that feature's own rules will disclose this, and you are responsible for confirming that participation is legal for you in your location before taking part.
9. User Content
You're responsible for anything you submit through the Service — chat messages, profile customizations, uploaded images (such as avatars or club banners), and similar content ("User Content"). You must have the right to post any User Content you submit, and you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your chat message across every connected server on the chat-global network). We may remove User Content or restrict features that display it at our discretion.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service's name, branding, game design, artwork, and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on and links to third-party services — including Discord, the Solana blockchain, and blockchain data providers used to verify transactions. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their availability, content, or policies. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service, remove the bot from a server, or reverse illegitimate Virtual Item gains, at any time and without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, exploited the Service, or created risk or legal exposure for us or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server(s) and/or ceasing to use the website.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that Virtual Item balances or blockchain verifications will always be accurate or timely.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our operators, contributors, and affiliates won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of Virtual Items, cryptocurrency, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability can't be fully excluded under applicable law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) any amount you paid us directly in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, announce the change in the Discord server or on the website. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise for your benefit.
